How we handle pavilions, carports and patio covers

A covered outdoor space gets used most of the year in west Georgia. We build heavy timber pavilions with exposed trusses, carports attached to the side of the house, and patio covers that keep the sun and rain off.

We frame it, roof it with shingles that suit your home, and walk the finished structure with you.

What’s the difference between a pavilion and a carport?

A pavilion is usually free-standing and built for gathering: around a grill, a table or a pool. A carport is built to park under and is often attached to the house. They’re framed and roofed in similar ways, and we build both.

Can the roof match my house?

Yes. We roof these structures with shingles, and we can choose a color that matches or complements your home.
