How we handle decks, porches and steps

A deck should feel solid underfoot for years. We build pressure-treated wood decks, steps and landings sized to how you’ll use them, from a simple set of entry steps to a big deck with wraparound stairs.

We’ll walk the yard with you, talk through size, layout, railings and stairs, then give you a written, itemized estimate.

Do I need a permit for a deck?

Often, yes. Columbus Consolidated Government and Harris County each have their own rules for decks. We work with both offices and will tell you what your project needs.

Can you repair an existing deck?

Yes. Rotted boards, loose railings and worn-out stairs are common repairs. We’ll tell you whether a repair makes sense or whether it’s time to rebuild.
